I attended a Town Hall for Hope live webcast at our church last night with Dave Ramsey. It was a wonderful message of hope that all Americans needed to hear.
Here is the website. I would encourage you to join with them on Facebook and Twitter if you have accounts there and just read through the site to see what you can do to help. The blog also has interesting tidbits that Dave Ramsey shared throughout his webcast.
The three main points that I came away with are:
1. Get up and take action. No one will solve your problems for you. It starts with us. We have to take personal responsibility for our own situation. Dave Ramsey said we the people are the healing agent of this economy. We can't buy into this fear that is gripping our nation. He says FEAR is False Evidence Appearing Real.
2. Stop listening to loser talk. It's all we hear from the media, but stop listening and speak a word of hope!
3. Start giving. Even if you can't give of your finances, give by serving others. Dave Ramsey says, "Let's give the government out of business!"
There is so much more that he said that needs to be heard. I think Fox News is rebroadcasting through the weekend and then it will be available online sometime in the near future.
Let's take back America for God and ourselves!
