April Showers

Hello April! I love this time of the year. Mainly because it's spring... a time of new beginnings. Also it's my birthday month and I guess I've always enjoyed this month through the years because it was a celebration month for me. We are definitely getting the April showers this year. It rained off and on yesterday, but that's what I love about Illinois--all four seasons. Just about the time you get tired of one season, another one waltzes in to take its place.

I thought that was so beautiful and profound! I'm not going to expound. It speaks for itself. But I just wanted to share with you and help us to see the beauty in our imperfections.

I spent last night going through Courtney's things at our old house. We got rid of most childhood things and outgrown clothes. Well they're on the way to Goodwill anyway. It was such a freeing feeling! Flylady http://www.flylady.net says if you don't love it, use it or need it, you need to bless someone else with it or throw it away! So that's what I'm trying to do. So now Courtney's room is completely cleaned out and we're going to sell her kid furniture. It's been a slow process, but this ensures that we won't be taking too much junk to the new house!

Duty calls... I'm at work and it's tax season! Yikes! But I hope everyone has a great weekend!
