September Morn

Wow! I didn't mean for it to be so long before I blogged, but time kind of got away from me.

Had a GREAT holiday weekend! Spent it at Jared & Nicole's camper at their resort in Missouri. Lots of down time, good conversation and good food. Wonderful hospitality!! Thanks guys!! We needed the break!

Dad, Mom, Dale, Mel & Gentry are all in Florida. We'll be looking forward to their posts about that. It sounds like they're having a blast! Hopefully Hurricane Hannah will stay away until they're ready to come home.

Can you believe it's September? Where did the year go? I know we always say that, but this year has truly flown. My sweet mother-in-law just celebrated a birthday on September 1 and Charles celebrates his on September 5. I love this time of year though. I guess Spring and Fall are my favorite times of the year. I've been seeing pumpkins in some of the fields we pass driving in the country. Puts a smile on my face.
