Decoration Frustration

It was a great, refreshing weekend. I was able to spend some time with Charles which is hard to find these days with work and home construction. Courtney was at a Sheaves For Christ Relay at our Illinois campground. It is a sponsored walk where they raise money for foreign missions. There are also a lot of fun activities. They stay up all night on Friday night and she came home wore out! I think she may be getting the cold/sinus infection that I had last week. I gave her Triaminic before school. I may have to take her to the doctor. Ugh! The weekend ended with great services at church and then a "Pie In the Face" contest after church last night. This was another fundraiser for foreign missions. My brother Ryan was one of the recipients of a pie, but his wife won the auction rights to put the pie in his face. She was nice and only rubbed a bit of cream on his nose. :)

Okay, starting to try to think about color schemes, decorating schemes, etc. for the house. I am not a decorator, but I have ideas of things I like. Since we will be living in the country on 10 acres and a lake, we decided to do country decorating. Not primitive... but who knew that there was country, English country, French country and farmhouse country?? I like some of all of it! Oh well, just had to share some frustration!

I hope everyone has a great, blessed week!

“When I said, "My foot is slipping," your love, O LORD, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul.”- Psalm 94:18-19

Decorating decisions can be frustrating, but you're getting to the fun part now! It's going to be fun, but I don't envy the decicion-making process you have right now. I know you'll pick things that will be perfect for your style of home and that fit your personalities. And you know, as always, I am more than happy to help with whatever I can do! Love ya, sis!
