It's 2009! I'm ready for a fresh new year. It's fun to dream and imagine what might possibly become reality in the upcoming year. I hope yours is everything you hope it to be!
It's been a very busy Christmas season for our family. We started by having a fun Sullivan family party on Christmas Eve with a rousing game of Apples to Apples and lots of good food. On Christmas Day we met again for a traditional Christmas dinner followed by giving gifts. On Friday evening we took off for Dallas to be with the Cox family. Saturday morning we got up and drove to Lake Kiowa where our Christmas with them began. Again more fun, food and games. We left there Sunday afternoon and went back to Grand Prairie where Charles' mom lives. We made it to church in Euless that evening just in time for fellowship. We had no idea they weren't having church, but it was a nice time catching up with all of our friends. On Monday we started the day at Spring Creek BBQ (one of our faves) and then went to Dallas for some shopping (can you say Sam Moon?) :) I know the Dallas people will know what I'm talking about! It was very busy there, but it was fun and we all ended up with purses and wallets (well not Charles... but Mom Cox, Courtney and me). :) For supper we went to Don Pablos, another fave of ours! Tuesday was a travel day, but when we got back to St. Louis, my brother-in-law's sister and her family were in town so we went to Cracker Barrel with them. Wednesday was a day of rest until our New Year's Eve Watchnight Service at church. I spent the night with my sister and her family last night so I didn't have to drive back home so late and then we had a New Year's Day meal together today at 2:00. Whew! Talk about party until you drop! I'm ready for my routine back! But it was all sooo much fun!
Duty calls tomorrow. Back to work! But I hope you all had happy holidays like we did. Looking forward to all the new year brings.
Blessings,
Christy

Spring Creek?!!! I'm so jealous.
Can't wait til I can go back to Euless and get me some.
I told Tiffany about Sam Moon. I hope she can go when they are down there.
So happy you guys got to go back to Dallas/Euless/Grand Prairie, etc. I know Mom Cox loved having her boy back, if only for a couple days.
Not fair, however, that I didn't get to accompany you to Abuelo's! I love that place, as well as several others!
