And how is your 2009 going? It's amazing that it's already January 17! Yikes! I was telling Charles the other day that when you're working for an accountant the new year doesn't come in slow or lazy in any way. You are thrust into the maelstrom of year-end processing, W-2s, 1099s, etc. I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, but then it will be time for getting taxes done! Whew!

Courtney's basketball season is over. They lost a regional game today. In some ways she's sad, but in others she is happy to have her life and routine back. She made a great Pinckneyville Jr. Panther! We are going to celebrate with pizza and ice cream later. Yum!

Will you all say a prayer for Ashley Cox? She is Charles sister who found out about a month or so ago that she has breast cancer. Earlier this week she found out that it was in her lymph nodes as well. Yesterday she underwent a double mastectomy and reconstruction surgery, but she will also have to undergo chemotherapy. I know you are all praying people and I know she would appreciate your prayers during this time in her life.
