Smile

Well I braved the Saturday-before-Christmas shopping melee. Fortunately I am almost finished with exception of a couple gifts and I know where and when I'm getting those. It was a mad house for sure, but I purposed in my heart when I set out this morning that I was going to enjoy the time of shopping and not get in a hurry or get frustrated. I also determined that I was going to smile at everyone who came across my path. It was amazing how some of the grumpiest faces lit up in a smile when I caught their eye. I guess that was my random act of kindness for today. Hopefully it made someone else's day a little brighter because it sure did for me.
