It was a beautiful evening shared with family and friends that I loved and most especially with my wonderful soon-to-be husband, Charles. After a near-flawless rehearsal directed by my sweet sister, we made our way to Super Smokers, a barbecue place, and had fun dining, laughing and talking with family and friends. One of my funny memories of this day is Bro. Benson calling my cousin Kevin and asking him what to wear to the wedding and would I mind if he wore a tie with big purple polka dots. :)
I had been a single mom for 8 years after I lost my dear Dave to leukemia. It felt like love was finding a second chance...
