Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone had an enjoyable Thanksgiving with family and friends. We spent the day in Pulleys Mill, an unincorporated town near Goreville, Illinois where my dad's parents live. I believe there were 14 of us there. We enjoyed turkey and all the trimmings. Unfortunately, Melanie is still in the hospital so Dale and Gentry spent the day with her. They brought in Cracker Barrel food and games to play and DVDs to watch. When our meal was over at Grandpa & Grandma's house, Jared & Nicole took us to the 25 acres they are buying in the Happy Hollow. Gorgeous piece of land with a great view and this great old barn on it. We will look forward to spending time there in the future!

Today Mom and I took in the craft fair at the Belle Clair Fairgrounds in Belleville. We haven't been to the craft fair in a few years so that was a fun and nostalgic way to spend our afternoon. That used to be one of our favorite pastimes.

Melanie has had a really rough road. They are now hoping to be able to send her home Monday. I hope that this can happen.
