General Conference 2009 - St. Louis, Missouri

Every year our church organization has an annual conference where many gather for a time of spiritual refreshing and renewal. A portion of the services are dedicated to raising funds to assist our foreign and home missionaries take the Gospel to their respective fields of labor. This year, the conference was held in St. Louis. It was a great time of spiritual refreshing, and a time to reconnect with friends and family. I have attended many of the conferences around our nation, but it was nice to have it in my backyard this year. The last time it was in St. Louis was 1986. I was a teenager then. Now I have a teenage daughter who is experiencing what I experienced back then. It is is my hope and prayer that she will forever embrace the heritage that has been given to her from 5 generations past.
